Joint program with the National Association of Resource Teachers (NART)

 

Participants who successfully complete the "Resource Teacher" program receive a Certificate of Professional Qualification.

 

The aim of the program is to prepare specialists in the field of inclusive education, who will acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes for working with children with special educational needs, studying at different levels of the educational system, to support their active inclusion in both the school environment and public life.

 

The program is suitable for candidates with pedagogical qualifications, a bachelor's or master's degree in education, and psychologists.

 

Main topics:

• Strategies for working with children with special educational needs;
• Organization and management of inclusive education;
• Functional assessment and assessment of educational needs (ICF);
• Special psychology;
• Management of aggressive and challenging behavior.

 

Interactive methods:

• Work in small groups;
• Practical exercises;
• Simulations;

 

The duration of the program is 2 semesters (1 academic year).

 

The training is conducted by leading lecturers from New Bulgarian University and the National Association of Resource Teachers.

 

Tuition fee for the entire program (two semesters, 1 academic year): 1,800 BGN.

Tuition fee for one semester: 900 BGN.
